How to do it
- Open the client overview and select Manage connections (owners and admins).
- On the Google Analytics 4 card, select Connect Google Analytics 4 and approve read-only access in Google.
- Select Choose property and pick the client's GA4 property.
What happens next
- The first sync reads the last 28 days and the previous 28 days, in the property's own time zone.
- Google Analytics 4 syncs every 6 hours.
- GrowthPilot reads sessions, active users, key events, engaged sessions, engagement rate and session duration, plus source / medium, channel groups and landing pages. It does not collect user-level data.
- Key events are your configured GA4 key events. They are not verified revenue.
If the property had no traffic in the period, the card says "Synced, but Google returned no activity for this period." That is not zero performance.
