Before you start
- You need to be an agency owner or admin.
- Sign in to Google with an account that has access to the client's Search Console property.
- Select the client in the Client / brand selector.
- Connected data must be switched on for your agency. GrowthPilot does this during onboarding.
How to do it
- Open the client overview and select Manage connections.
- On the Search Console card, select Connect Search Console.
- Sign in to Google and approve read-only access. Use the same browser session throughout; the request expires after 10 minutes.
- Back in GrowthPilot you'll see "Access authorised". Select Choose property.
- Pick the client's property from Available properties and accounts.
What happens next
The first sync starts immediately: "Property selected. The initial sync has started." See Search Console syncs.
Troubleshooting
- "No accessible properties." The Google account you used can't see a verified property. Check its Search Console permissions, then select Reconnect.
- "Consent could not be completed." You declined access, took longer than 10 minutes, or used a different browser session. Start connecting again from the card in the same browser and approve read-only access.
- "Connected-data features are not enabled for this workspace yet." Contact support.
- Google blocks the sign-in or warns about the app. Contact support with the exact message.
