Notifications cover "what needs a person, plus results of syncs, research and analyses you started."
The bell
The bell in the top bar shows how many notifications are unread (99+ above 99). Select it to open Notifications. Low-priority items appear in the list but don't add to the count.
Views and filters
- Views: Inbox, Unread, Read, Dismissed and All.
- Type: Approvals, Content & publishing, Connections, Reputation, Invoices, Agency workflows, Onboarding, Performance, and Results & syncs.
- Client and Priority (Critical, High, Medium, Low).
Working with notifications
- Select the title to open the source item, such as the content, connection or invoice. This marks it read.
- Mark read / Mark unread on each item, or Mark all as read.
- Dismiss hides an item for you only. Find it later under Dismissed and Restore it.
- Each item shows its severity, client, type, date and Next: step.
If the underlying issue changes, for example a new failure, the notification becomes unread again. When the issue is resolved, it disappears.
Results & syncs
When you start keyword research, a competitor analysis, an AI Pilot analysis, an AI content draft or a manual sync, you get a notification when it's ready or if it couldn't finish. Only the person who started the work receives these, and they stay for 72 hours.
In-app notifications are not emailed. GrowthPilot emails you separately for:
- a Growth Audit you started being ready;
- publishing that failed after retries, sent to the person who scheduled it;
- reputation alerts and digests, if you choose them. See Reputation email notifications.
