PUBLISHING

Manual publishing

Post approved content yourself on channels without automation, and record it in GrowthPilot.

Some channels are not automated. You publish them yourself, and GrowthPilot keeps the record. See Publishing channels for which channels are manual.

How to do it

  1. When a channel shows Manual required (it also appears in My work), open the content item. You can also do this early, while the channel is still Scheduled.
  2. Under Publishing, select Mark as published manually on that channel. A Publish on channel checklist opens:
    1. Copy the approved text: select Copy text.
    2. Download the attached media: select Download file name for each file.
    3. Post it on the channel at the scheduled date and time shown.
  3. Optionally paste the Post link.
  4. Tick I published this approved version on channel and select Confirm published.

You'll see "Recorded as published manually." The channel then shows Marked as published manually, with the time and a View post link if you added one.

Good to know

  • The pack always contains the exact approved version.
  • If the content changes after approval, the pack is unavailable until the new version is approved.
  • If an automatic channel fails and you post it yourself, use Mark as published manually to keep the record accurate.
